Tag Variables

mp3Tag can use variables to rename audio files and to tag them. A list of variables is available to the right of the "Format" area (where you use them). Here is the complete list:

• %#, %0 - Track number
• %T, %1 - Title
• %A, %2 - Artist
• %L, %3 - Album
• %Y, %4 - Year
• %G - Genre
• %C, %6 - Comment
• %M - Composer
• %B, %7 - Bit rate
• %F, %8 - Frequency
• %D, %9 - Duration
• %S - Size
• %P - BPM
• %N, %O - Filename (old filename)
• %5 - Name of the folder where the file is stored
