I was able to rip a CD that had completely befuddled MusicMatch Jukebox. It had gotten to the 6th track on the CD and halted unable to make any progress on the conversion. I tried it multiple times and each time it halted on the same track at about the point. Its an old CD I checked out from the library so I thought that the media might be damaged, but I was able to play the problem track directly. AudioConverter had no such difficulties. I'll be using it from now.

Use of MP3 Tags, MP3 Converter

During conversion of files into MP3/WMA/OGG/FLAC/MPC format or ripping Audio CD you can use MP3-tags/WMA-tags/OGG-tags/FLAC-tags/MPC-tags for recording them into output files.

There are 3 modes of work with them:

  1. Don't use MP3-tags.
  2. Copy existed or get information from Audio CD, using CDDB.
  3. Record your own tags.

First option should be clear. ;) Second options intended for saving existed tags during conversion of higher quality MP3 files into the lower. This is very useful option which you perhaps already been dreaming about for a long time! Also it can be used for recording information received from the internet from the CDDB server.

Third option is intended for group record of tags into many files. For example, if you have an album of Britney Spears in WAV format and you want to convert it into mp3. Since this is not an Audio CD, you cannot receive description from the Internet. To simplify the procedure, we recommend do as follows:

1. Select a mode of recording the tags, enter the description:

Use of MP3 tags

2. Select all WAV-files and transfer them for conversion into MP3. Press "Convert" button.

3. On the output we will receive MP3-files, which contain MP3-tags with almost complete description. All you have left to do is to use another our tool mp3Tag and enter names of songs. After that in the same program rename the files in a required way, using information from the tags.

If you working with Audio CD, which description was found, then you can rename files into one of the following formats:

  • Number of the track (track 04).
  • Number of the track – Song's Name (04 – I'm Not A Girl, Not Yet a Woman).
  • Artist – Song's Name (Britney Spears – I'm Not A Girl, Not Yet a Woman).
  • Song's Name (I'm Not A Girl, Not Yet a Woman).
  • Artist – Number of the track – Song's name (Britney Spears – 04 - I'm Not A Girl, Not Yet a Woman).

Then select a format of the output of the ripped track and you will receive the file, which you need just listen!
