ID3 Tag Editor, MP3 Tagger

Tag editor is built into Media Catalog Studio to view MP3, WMA, M4a, OGG, MPC, APE files. Here you can edit MP3, WMA, MP4, OGG, APE tags. To open tag editor click button on main toolbar.

Note: For MP3-tags also supported ID3v1, ID3v2 and Lyrics3 tags. In the right side of the window the file list from the main window is displayed. To move from file to file just click on the required file.

The middle part of the window shows main tag fields:

• Track number.
• Name of the music piece.
• Name of the author.
• Album.
• Year of release.
• Genre.
• Commentary.
• Composer.
• Original artist.
• Copyright.
• Internet address.
• Who coded the information.

These values are set in drop-down lists where all the original information from the file groups is placed. For example, the artists list will include the names of all artists from the files opened in tag editor.

The left part of the window consists of three parts:

1. Text field to display the lyrics.
2. Graphic field to display images stored in the tag.
3. Control items to set mood, tempo, category and file rating.

To save the new fields values click button "Save". By default the changes take place only in the database. To save the changes in the tags you must check "Save to file" item.

To remove the tags from the selected file click button "Remove tag".
