mp3Tag is great, by the way. I am a bit of an addict when it comes to music. I download a lot of music files from blogs and many of them are poorly tagged and named. mp3Tag makes the process of making them more useful so very easy. I have hundreds of files from a time before I purchased mp3Tag and am now going through those files to fix them. I simply could not do this without mp3Tag.

Generation of Playlists and Export of Tags

After you selected musical files in main window and pressed "Create playlists" button, operations window will appear, which includes list of files, and, apart from names of the files, tag fields and additional musical information about songs.

This information might be used for generation of playlists, or can be exported into MS Excel or text files. Simply choose the desired option from the dropdown list and press button "Save playlists or Export data".

mp3Tag includes following options:

Saving playlist in M3U or PLS format, to play it later with WinAMP, or any other player.

Export of data, which can be used later for classification, into following formats:

MS Excel worksheet.
Textfile with fields separated by semicolons.
Textfile with fields separated tab.

Note: At export into MS Excel or textfiles only fields, displayed in the table, are used. The order of fields in the output files is also the same as in the table.
