Copy ID3v1 to ID3v2 or ID3v2 to ID3v1
MP3 files have two different (incompatible) versions of tags: ID3v1 and
ID3v2. More about them you can learn here.
For now, let's consider how tags can be copied from one version to another when one of the versions is missing.
This may be necessary, as some players prefer ID3v1 while others read only
ID3v2. Usually it's a good idea to have them synchronized.
Select all the files that you want to
process. Make sure that mp3Tag reads and writes both ID3v1 and ID3v2:
Click "Save":
