mp3Tag is great, by the way. I am a bit of an addict when it comes to music. I download a lot of music files from blogs and many of them are poorly tagged and named. mp3Tag makes the process of making them more useful so very easy. I have hundreds of files from a time before I purchased mp3Tag and am now going through those files to fix them. I simply could not do this without mp3Tag.

Auto Fill Track #

You can easily fill track numbers for selected files. This feature is useful for a music collection which has list of files in right order. To fill "track #" field please do the following:

Select group of required files in main window.
Click on the "Generate tags" button.
Check only the required files.
Sort files in descending order.
Select "Do not change existing tags" or other mode with appropriate format.
Click on the .
Enter staring track #.
Press button "Generate tags".

After that you have files with changed track numbers.
