Duplicates Search, Find Duplicate Files, Search for Duplicates
In addition to search of files according to entered information
Media Catalog Studio can find the duplicates of media files: identical files in different catalogs and disks, files with corrupted tags and so on. This unique feature can free extra disk space and control the files in a way impossible in any other software that does not work with the tags.
To search for duplicates you can use the following parameters:
- Title.
- Artist.
- Album.
- Commentary.
- Bitrate.
- Frequency.
- Size.
- Filename.
Media Catalog Studio will search in the database for all files with identical parameters.
Open the sheet “Duplicates” in the main window, set the required parameters and click button
 . The search will be also based on the file types set on the
toolbar:
