Convert CDA
There is a common misunderstanding about the CDA "format". Many people think
that it is just another audio format, and thus some program should be able to
convert CDA files into MP3 or other formats.
Unfortunately, there are no CDA files! CDA stands for CD Audio, and what you
see as CDA file is nothing more than a shortcut created by your system to
provide an easy access to Audio CD tracks. If you copy this shortcut to your
hard drive or to another storage device, it will have very little value, because
the corresponding Audio CD track will not be copied.
To do the thing properly, you should rip
your Audio CD. This can be done with the help of
AudioConverter Studio.
