I tried several music services that also sell music along with providing a Music Library program (Musicmatch, Napster, the NEW Yahoo Music Service) and I discovered that they only do this so that the can use the demographics they get from your library to try and "target sell" to you. I downloaded several different Music Management Software programs and NOTHING was as easy as the Media Office I purchased. I had all kinds of Rippers, Burners and MP3 file Managers and when I wanted a particular song that I new I had I looked for two days and couldn't find it in my 1000+ MP3 File Library or my 250+ Music CD Library. The more I looked at solutions the surer I was that would probably have to buy a new computer because my current one would soon be totally consumed by MP3 files.
Two hours and I catalogued my entire CD Library and reduced my MP3 Files from well over 1000 files to about 750 files. On a couple of occasions I had the some song on my hard drive 4 times. (OK so I liked the song) Now everything is organized and have created some killer personalized playlists to enjoy the music that I love.
The true clincher was when I realized that I didn't have to RIP my CD's to get them Song by Song, Album by Album or Artist by Artist into my Library. I previously had so many entire CD's ripped onto my hard drive when I really only wanted one or two songs off a CD. WOW What a great feature. Now I have only the songs I want on my hard drive and I know exactly which CD hold the songs I didn't Rip, I love your software
